What’s Christmas without a little sibling rivalry? Kylie Jenner served up some serious shade to sister Kendall Jenner at their mom’s Christmas Eve bash, and Khloe Kardashian captured it all on Instagram!

What’s going on here, Kylie Jenner? Kylie threw Kendall Jenner some insane side-eye in an Instagram that Khloe Kardashian posted on December 26. Isn’t Christmas a time for family and togetherness? So what happened between Kendall and Kylie at Kris Jenner‘s Christmas Eve party?

“Kendall and I are serrrrving and of course we have the side eye queen 😏 #CTC4Life,” Khloe captioned her Instagram. The photo shows Khloe and Kendall in their fiercest poses, while Kylie glares at Kendall with the iciest stare and smirk imaginable. Ouch. At least she’s got her arm resting on her sister’s back!

Something worth noting: all three ladies look immaculate. They all donned their sparkliest, glitziest outfits for their mom’s holiday bash; they look like the stars on top of the trees! The most glittery touch of all? That astronomical diamond ring perched on Kylie’s finger! The giant diamond halo ring sparked rumors of an engagement, but Kylie denied the rumors on her website — though she did say she got an “extra special gift from a special someone.” What did Tyga have up his sleeve?

What to Do When He Didn't Text Back

We've all played the waiting game. We've all tried to play it cool. Every girl knows that anxious feeling of waiting to receive a text back. The day seems to drag on and on as you wait for that response. Initially, you begin to make excuses for him. Even though you have his whole entire work schedule figured out, you tell yourself, He might've had work today. Or maybe, He is probably drowning in homework. (Very likely huh?) As you keep refreshing your Twitter/Snapchat feed every two to five minutes, suddenly his name pops up with a new Snapchat. This dreaded Snapchat proves he is definitely not busy enough to use his phone, so why didn't he answer your text?

This heart-wrenching question is leading to big problems in today's society. In today's world, we become uncertain on how people feel about us based on the emojis they use, their "texting attitude" or simply how quickly they text back. The anxiety that results from the uncertainty is simply unhealthy and is ruining our ability to communicate effectively. It's a total confidence killer when the guy you're crushing on doesn't text you first. Or what about those days when you get insecure with your own girl friends? I know I often get offended when my own best friend doesn't respond a millisecond after I text her. We often feel let down and disappointed. If a guy doesn't text you for a whole day after you hang out or texts back using one-word answers, we instantly assume the worst:He's just not that into you.

Why are we so quick to jump to these conclusions? Why do we beat ourselves up and wonder if the world hates us? According to psychologist, Theresa E. DiDonato, "Texting is often fraught with confusion. Without our non-verbal signals, messages can be misinterpreted or misconstrued, leading to uncertainty and anxiety." (He just texted, "Hi." What does that mean?!?!)

The real question is, could the excuses we make up in our minds actually be true sometimes? Could it be that people are actually busy and don't really want to text? Is that maybe why your friends giving you short answers? Is that why he isn't answering right now? We have to think with open minds. A good tip is to put yourself in others' shoes. Do you ever get in those moods where sometimes you just want to curl up with a fuzzy blanket and binge-watch Netflix? Maybe while Grey's Anatomy is on you aren't really feelin' like texting back in your group chat. Or maybe while you are helping give your bestie advice, you want to devote your full attention to her and don't want to text your boyfriend. These aren't excuses; these are simply times when you are busy.

Everyone gets busy every once in a while, and although it's hard, we gotta grow thicker skin and not get so easily offended. If it's 6 p.m. and he still didn't text you, take a chill pill. Do something fun for yourself. Don't focus too much on it because the reality is everyone gets busy. Eventually you will be able to determine if someone is too busy for you and is not giving you the attention you deserve at all. Until you can safely make that determination, sit back and relax and don't sweat the small stuff!

This 'Doctor Who' Fashion Line by Hot Topic is Everything

Hot Topic has been slaying it in the last year by upping its fashion game (finally!), and the company bumped it up another level with its new Doctor Who fashion line. Hot Topic is partnering with BBC America (the network the show is on) to bring a line of on-trend dress, cardigans, and sweaters – nine total pieces to the store and online.

Well that didn’t take long. Coco Austin is back on Instagram flaunting her sexy body and she is one hot mama. The gorgeous blonde posed for a picture with her newborn daughter Chanel, and both ladies look perfect!

Did Coco Austin, 36, really only give birth to her and Ice-T’s first child, Chanel Nicole, on Nov. 28? The stunning model shared a sexy snap of herself on Dec. 3 posing with the baby girl and we’re speechless. She looks absolutely amazing and extremely happy to be holding her princess.

Uh oh. Calvin Harris is worried that Taylor Swift may still have feelings for her ex, Harry Styles. She seemingly dissed the One Direction singer recently by liking a Tumblr post, which threw some shade at him, but even that made Calvin jealous. He’s super upset right now.

Taylor Swift, 25, said she is never ever getting back together with Harry Styles, 21, but her current boyfriend, Calvin Harris, 31, is worried she still has feelings for him. Even the mere mention of Harry’s name gets him all hot and bothered — and not in a good way.

“Calvin has separated himself from his playboy ways and is all in with his relationship with Taylor. He doesn’t like when she mentions her exes. He wants her to not talk about them, even if it’s her throwing shade at them. He wants her to be totally devoted to him. He gets jealous thinking that she still may have feelings for people like Harry or others she has dated — it’s upsetting to him,” a source tells us

This comes after Taylor seemingly threw shade at her ex by liking a Tumblr post, which slammed the One Direction singer for being “immature” when they dated. Obviously, Taylor was dissing him, but the way Calvin sees it, anything having to do with Harry, or any one of Taylor’s exes, makes him extremely jealous. It’s been three years since Taylor and Harry broke up, so we doubt she still has any feelings for him, but we can totally understand where Calvin is coming from. Talking or hearing about your significant other’s exes is never easy. Especially when fans are still rooting for that couple to get back together.

LOL, This Beauty Vlogger Let Her BF Do Her Makeup

You and bae might do everything together, but that should never include your makeup. This beauty vlogger's video is the only proof you need.

Nineteen-year-old British YouTuber Roxi of channel Roxxsaurus let her BF Matt give a makeup tutorial using her as the model, and the results are pretty ridiculous.

This is def not the first time a beauty vlogger has let her bae play makeup artist, but these vids never stop being funny.

Matt sets out to give Roxi a "grunge" look, although we'd say it's more of a vampire look, if that vampire was a five-year-old with a set of fingerpaints. Poor guy.

Roxi laughs her way through the whole tutorial, as Matt fumbles with products - a primer and blusher are the same thing, right? - and brush sizes, which never really match up with the product he's using. He does display an impressive understanding of the crease shadow brush, even if his application method leaves something to be desired.

The finished look pairs two black eyes with some aggressively winged eyeliner and a smudged vampy lip. You kinda just need to see it.

Can a Smokey Eye Ever Be Easy? We Put 3 Hacks to the Test.

Ah, the smokey eye. Equal parts alluring and mysterious, mastering this illusive shadow look will not only make your peepers pop no matter the color, it can render a man senseless with just one wink of your well-smoked lid.

Okay, maybe smokey eye shadow isn't that enticing but there's something that makes us feel fearless when we rock a look so bold and yet so stylish. Still, it's not an easy look to achieve. What shades of shadows should be using and how do you know when to use browns, blacks or grays? How do you prevent it from running underneath your eyes by the end of the night, making you look like a raccoon? And most important of all, how do you keep from looking like an all around hot mess?

For those who are just starting with the smokey eye effect, this shadow job can be daunting. That's why we simply had to test some of the most popular hacks out there to see if there was an easy way to achieve such a look. Lucky for all of us, they seemed to work!

1. Just Some Liner

For this Pinterest look which you can find here, the basic idea is to sketch out some lines of what you want the overall shadow shape to look like and them smudge the living daylights out of it to get that smoked effect. Simple, minimal and quick!

This is what it looked like when I finished. I drew two lines going diagonally across my eye, one coming out of the very corner and one toward the center. Then I created an arching line around my crease and another right on top of where my lid ended. I used a very creamy chocolate brown pencil to do the job. On Pinterest the lines were a little sharper, but like I said you're just going to smudge everything together anyway.

After taking a small brush and blending all of the lines, whipping away any excess that got outside of my original borders, I was left with this! I also used some pencil right underneath my lashes.

This looked amazing! I was actually really surprised by how good it came out considering how simple the whole process was. I was so convinced that I would wind up looking like a hot mess who accidentally smudged her liner, but this was fierce. And it only took a matter of minutes! My one suggestion would be to pop a highlight shade right by your tear duct because that's where the liner will stop and needs additional color. Other than, totes approve!

2. A Little Bit of Shadow

Like the last look, this was a Pinterest tutorial that mostly involved some tracing and a bit of smudging. Unlike the picture from the tutorial, I opted for some black and gray shades to change things up. I wanted to experiment with as many smokey looks as I could.

For this, I took a creamy black pencil and basically traced the shape of my lid adding a little cat eye. I drew the line from the top of my lashes, out toward my crease, running it back down to the bottom of my lash line. Yes, I looked a bit like I had a strange disease but I knew it wouldn't look like this long.

I then smudged the inside of the lines throughout the shape I created so they were less defined and placed a sparkly shade of silver shadow in the middle. Adding little bit of liquid winged eyeliner, this was the final look I got.

Hot damn once again! Not only was this look super simple it was just the right amount of darkness around my eyes to make them pop. To add just a bit more to this look, I'd also add a highlighting color under my brow bone and a nude tan across my crease just to make the darker shades stand out. Hack number two is a total yes!

3. Liquid Liner? Are you Sure?

For my third smokey eye quickie, I went with Beauty Blogger Zukreat's video. In it, she uses a combo of black and brown shades to make her blue eyes look stunning.
Because I didn't have the exact shadows she used in her video, I used the best beauty dupes from my own palettes. The basic idea was to put three different shades of brown on top of thick, black liquid eyeliner in order to create layered, smokey effect.

Once I put the insanely thick amount of liner on my lids, I started to feel skeptical. Would I actually be able to cover those bold lines with a shadow? Would it really be that quick?

Nope, it most certainly wasn't. Unless you want to be blending for years, I wouldn't recommend using a liquid liner at all. If you want to try this look, try using a pencil on your lid with a liquid liner on the corners to create your wing. No matter how dark of a shadow I used, I couldn't make the liner blend in with the rest of my shadow. I was getting super frustrated, using more and more shadow and it was going everywhere.Needless to say, I had some bad dark circles.

When all was said and done, I looked like I was on some serious drugs. I am used to wearing a pretty heavy amount of makeup but this was way too much. Maybe Taylor Momsen would have been digging on this look, but I totes was not a fan.

Number three needed some intense adjustments.

What I learned from this whole experience was this: The simpler, the better for your smokey eye and be sure to smudge the crap out of it.

Which Celeb Was This Year's Most Popular Fashion Icon on Polyvore?

Drumroll, please...

This week, Polyvore released its second annual Best of Polyvore report, revealing the top search trends in categories like male and female style icons, brands and clothing styles, as well as the most popular items across the country and the world. TBH, some of these stats totally caught us off guard.

The most searched lady on Polyvore is Ariana Grande, her infamous cat ears garnering the most hits. Kendall Jenner is next (Kylie didn't even rank in the top five, but Kim earned fourth place), followed by Taylor Swift.

The top ranking male is Harry Styles - although we can't say we find that even a little surprising. Justin Bieber, who held the title last year, sits at number three this year, also falling behind Luke Hemmings.

Athleisure seems to have captured our hearts in 2015, as Nike and Adidas rank as the top searched brands on Polyvore. The most popular designer is Stella McCartney, her Adidas collection racking up the most interest. On a very different note, people are searching "tulle skirts" with abandon. How very Carrie Bradshaw of us.

It’s official! Longtime Playboy bunny, Pamela Anderson is featured on the cover of the final nude ‘Playboy’ issue! This is the 48-year-old’s 14th time to grace a cover and she says she asked her two teen sons for permission to do it!

It’s the end of an era and no better person to strip down for the cover than Pamela Anderson. The 48-year-old blonde bombshell has been on the cover a record 14 times so it’s no wonder Hugh Hefner‘s team called her up and said “there’s nobody else” and begged her to do it! She tells Entertainment Tonight that when she shot the cover her “boobs were flying!”

“I got a call from [Hugh Hefner’s] attorney who said, ‘We don’t want anybody else. There’s nobody else, could you do the last cover of Playboy?'” she said. Pam also added that she immediately asked her 19-year-old Brandon what he thought: “I said, ‘Hef just called, he wants me to do the last cover of Playboy,’ and he goes, ‘Mom you’ve got to do it.'” Adding: “We’re older, we’re not embarrassed anymore of you. This New Hair Coloring Technique Is Actually an Artistic Masterpiece

If you're still getting your hair colored with your basic dye and foil strips, girl it is sotime to update. From your classic balayage to the more recent fluid hair painting trend, it seems like more and more dye styles are cropping up for an entirely new and epic effect. And now we have one more to add to the list and it looks like something straight off of a canvas.

It's called hand-pressed coloring and we totes believe this would have been Picasso's coloring method if he was a hairstylist. Yeah, it's that cool.

Quite literally dreamed up back in September by Redken colorist Chiali Marvici, the technique is similar to both screen printing and painting a work of art.

As for her inspiration, Chiala told Cosmo, "I have a painting in my apartment that a friend did for me a while ago that has a lot of colors on it, and I fell asleep one night and dreamt of all these layers living together on a surface. When I woke up, I thought about how beautiful that would be on the hair and how I would translate that vision onto the hair."

#Styleinspo at it's finest, ladies. When Chiala finally figured out how to transform her friend's painting into hair coloring patterns, it was nowhere short of a masterpiece. In order to transfer the color onto hair, Chiala says you have to first paint different patterns like circles, diagonal lines and swirls with hair coloring onto a 6-inch wide sheet of hard plexiglass. All of these shapes can be varying in color based on what the client wants.

Once your plexiglass painting is finished, Chiala takes the hair and lays it flat on the plexiglass, pressing a 6-inch long putty knife along the strands so the color saturates both the top and underside of the hair. And when she's done running the putty knife through your hair, all of the shapes blend together to form a blanket of color.

And it looks incredible.

Chiala then slides the plexiglass slab out from under your hair, repaints the pattern and does it again until your whole head is covered in color. Letting the color set takes anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes, making the waiting time for you significantly less than getting foils or balayage because hand-pressed coloring doesn't take any post-application blending.

Right now, this technique isn't as widespread as we'd like but Chiala says she will soon be traveling around the country to teach more colorists how to do hand-pressed painting themselves. But until then, we'll have fun drawing our stylists some blueprints for the color combos we'd like in our hair. Galaxy ombre, here we come!
