Imagine if You Could Live Stream on Snapchat? This App Is Like That

Imagine if you were at a T. Swift concert, and you could live stream a video of her performing with one of her infamous secret surprise guests?

So what, right? There are already apps - like Periscope and Meerkat - that do that.

Now, imagine if you could live stream a video of T. Swift and add a giant wiggling "RAD" sticker and draw a purple heart. If that doesn't give you all the social network feels, then we don't know what does.

That's why we are SO excited for the release of Kanvas 5.0, the newest update to the Kanvas app. It will integrate live streaming into the social platform, while keeping Kanvas's extensive creative toolset, which we find to be much more extensive than the artistic offerings of Snapchat (although, Kanvas doesn't have lenses, to our knowledge!).

Not only can you edit the live stream while you are recording, you can draw on the video with a huge color palette, add tons of GIF stickers and text overlays, apply filters and change the animated theme - there are 20 different ones including weather, horror and psychedelic effects. You can also create a flipbook effect by adding in additional photos.

The one bad thing? Right now, Kanvas is only available for iOS. Sorry, Android peeps!
