Justin Bieber had one hell of a night at the 2015 MTV
EMAs. Not only did he take home six awards, but he also graced everyone
with a swagtastic performance. All of that awesomeness almost didn't go
down, though...thanks to his clumsy, not badass ways, of course.The Biebs told presenter Sway he had recently hurt his right ear by falling into the water awkwardly during a wakeboarding session.
"You know I popped my eardrum?," he said. "I was wakeboarding and I smashed my ear against the water so now I gotta like plug my ear against the screaming."
Bieber could be seen wearing the yellow plug in his ear throughout the ceremony in Milan. He owned that performance so it must not have bothered him too much. Plus he's used to rocking this kind of injury...
The pop star had a similar issue last year. At the time, he told fans on Twitter.com, "Busted my ear drum cliff diving. Doc says might need surgery now. Sucks."
