Things are heating up for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton in their personal lives, but are they going to let it cross over into their professional lives, too? HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop on whether or not the hot new couple will get in the studio and record a duet now that they’re out as a couple.
Is a Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton collaboration in the works?! The new couple have been spending a ton of time together, so it would only make sense that they make beautiful music together, right? Well, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned The Voice coaches’ plans for a duet — is it going to happen? Find out here
“They will do things for The Voice, but they don’t plan on working together outside the show right now,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“They want to work on their relationship and make that work and keep
work separate, besides, of course, what they do for the show. When it
comes to their outside careers, they want to keep it separate.”
Hey, we can’t blame them! Things are so new between these two, and with all the time they spend together on The Voice, there’s already such a fine line between their professional and personal lives. Gwen just put out an amazing new song, “Used To Love You,” about her divorce, and is clearly focused on her new music right now, and that journey is definitely an important one she should be taking on her own.
And just because they won’t be working together, doesn’t mean their relationship has to suffer! After weeks of speculation, the No Doubt singer’s rep finally confirmed Gwen and Blake are an item on Nov. 4 — the same day as then CMA Awards, which Blake attended solo, although his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, was also in the audience and Gwen was right in Nashville visiting him.
“Gwen is so incredibly excited about Blake,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She’s absolutely buzzing right now. She loves waking up every day and can’t wait to start working on the lives hows with him. She has butterflies in her stomach and is totally on cloud nine. She hasn’t felt this alive in years.”
